Steerable River Tube & Paddle Inflation/Deflation Instructions/Safety Warnings

INFLATION:

Remove the TubeTracker PVC tube and paddle from the packaging.  First, assemble two piece paddle shaft together, with oar-rings on the ends of the shaft.  Then proceed to screw the paddle blades into both ends of the paddle shaft until securely tightened.  When preparing to inflate the tube, lay the tube unit with the graphics facing up and spread out as evenly as possible.  It is important to inflate the seat air chamber first via the small push-in valve.  Inflate seat using a portable blower, or air mattress pump with proper attachment nozzle.  If using an air compressor, attach the blow nozzle to airline.  The inflatable seat utilizes a small one-way push-in safety valve.  If having difficulty opening the one way safety valve for inflation, insert small plastic straw that comes in packet with repair patches to aid in air flow.  Inflate the seat air chamber until firm, but do not over inflate.

To inflate the main air chamber of the tube, make sure the black plastic boston valve is securely tightened by turning the round textured base of the valve cap to the right.  Next, loosen the square top of the boston valve cap by turning it to the left, while ensuring the round base stays securely tightened in place. Inflate the main chamber of the tube using a small air compressor, air mattress pump or blower until the tube takes shape and is fully inflated, or taught/firm to the touch.  Our custom TubeTracker vinyl tube takes shape quickly during inflation.  Do not over inflate the main air chamber of the vinyl tube.  To close the boston valve securely, tighten the valve by turning the square top cap to the right.  Refer to the TubeTracker photos at the bottom of page to view a properly inflated tube.  A properly inflated TubeTracker requires approximately 1.5-2.0 lbs of air pressure and will approximately match the 60”x40” inflated specification. Please refer to www.tubeproinc.com for more photos of properly inflated tubes.

DEFLATION/STORAGE:

To deflate the main air chamber of the tube, remove the boston valve cap from the recessed valve port.  To loosen valve cap, turn the round textured base to the left.  Next deflate seat air chamber and fold and curl as necessary to remove excess air.  Once the vinyl PVC tube is deflated, reinstall the boston valve core and tighten cap securely at the base for storage. The TubeTracker should be stored without sharp creases in the PVC.  Do not tightly vacuum the tube.

Note: Tube may naturally deflate due to seasonal air pressure changes.  Additional air may be required before use.

RE-INFLATION:

**When re-inflating vinyl tubes, ensure the main chamber boston valve is screwed tightly.**

Steerable River Tube with Cover & Paddle Inflation/Deflation Instructions/Safety Warnings

INFLATION:

Remove the TubeTrackerPRO tube/cover and paddle from the packaging.  Note the PVC vinyl tube is already assembled inside the canvas cover. First, assemble two piece paddle shaft together, with oar-rings on the ends of the shaft. Then proceed to screw the paddle blades into both ends of the paddle shaft until securely tightened.  When preparing to inflate the tube, lay the tube/cover unit with the graphics facing up and spread out as evenly as possible. Inflate the seat air chamber until firm, but do not over inflate. Once the seat is firmly inflated, close the zippered seat cover to secure shut.

To inflate the main air chamber of the tube, make sure the black plastic boston valve cap is securely tightened by turning the round textured base of the valve cap to the right.  Next, loosen the square top of the boston valve cap by turning it to the left, while ensuring the round base remains securely tightened in place.  Inflate the main chamber of the tube using a small air compressor, air mattress pump or blower until the tube takes shape and appears snug within the tube cover.  Our custom TubeTrackerPRO vinyl tube and cover takes shape quickly during inflation.  Do not over inflate the main air chamber of the vinyl tube.  During inflation, ensure that the valve cover and cup holder cutouts are aligned properly.  Stop inflation to make manual positioning adjustments to the tube and cover as needed. To close the boston valve securely tighten the valve by turning the square top cap to the right.  Refer to the TubeTracker™PRO photos at the bottom of page for a properly inflated tube. A properly inflated TubeTrackerPRO requires approximately 1.5-2.0 lbs of air pressure and will approximately match the 60”x40” inflated specification. Please refer to www.tubeproinc.com for more photos of properly inflated tubes.

DEFLATION/STORAGE:

For product longevity, it is ideal to leave the covered tube in the shade OR release some of the air when not in use and exposed to sunlight, to limit tube expansion and possible cover damage due to temperature changes.

To deflate the main air chamber of the tube, remove the boston valve cap from the recessed valve port.  To loosen valve cap, turn the round textured base to the left.  Next, deflate seat air chamber and fold and curl as necessary to remove excess air.  Once the vinyl PVC tube is deflated, reinstall the boston valve core and tighten cap securely at the base for storage.  The TubeTrackerPRO should be stored without sharp creases in the PVC.  Do not tightly vacuum the tube.

Note: Tube may naturally deflate due to seasonal air pressure changes.  Additional air may be required before use.

RE-INFLATION:

**When re-inflating vinyl tubes, ensure the main chamber boston valve is screwed tightly.**
